Hi athletes and parents,

Your Media Day is approaching. This is not your typical stand on the field, smile, and click the camera photo day. This day consists of a full professional photo shoot with a creative set and lighting. Please watch the short video above to get a glimpse of what the media day experience is like. We will take multiple pictures of each athlete, adjusting their pose, hair, and expression so that we get an image they will be proud to show off. Some students will also experience additional content production stations and create digital media for school use.

Athletes will take 2 pictures -

  • one individual picture (for picture packages)

  • a second individual picture in front of a green screen for the team poster

Athletes will select their final image for the picture package at the photo shoot. This allows us to streamline the post production timeline and be able to deliver the final prints and digitals to you in a timely manner.

Picture packages are customized and designed by you. The order form lets you mix and match picture and poster sizes to fit your needs.

  • All images are professionally retouched with natural skin smoothing and image color enhancement.

  • The team poster is a composite where individual images of athletes are combined digitally to look like the team is standing together. This process guarantees each athlete is lit well and no one gets left in the shadows.

Picture packages are available for purchase and all orders are due the night before your shoot day. Orders and payments are submitted online through the order form links below. There is a minimum purchase per athlete.

Digitals - There is only 1 high resolution digital image to purchase and it is of the image your athlete selects at the shoot. We will perfect one pose at the shoot so there are no other poses that we offer for purchase. The digital of the team poster is not available for sale.

Senior Night Planning - If you would like access to digital images to use for senior night items, please make sure that seniors order a digital image in their package. Digitals are not sold a la carte outside of a picture package order.

FAQS

  • We are portrait studio photographers with experience in athletics, marketing, and social media. Our process and end products are different than what you might be used to. We set up a full photo shoot with creative backgrounds and lighting, options for video production, and offer refined magazine style images with retouching. Our years of expertise in photography and marketing gives us a unique eye to create great content to promote your athlete, the school, or just to keep as cherished memories.

    Another stand out feature of our company is that we do not hire amateur photographers to send to each school. Rayne and Dom photograph each team themselves to guarantee the highest quality results.

  • We accept preorders which are due by the night before the shoot. Completing the orders before the shoot allows us to start the post-processing right away, sending all the selected images to our retouching team and print labs. Since we don’t give you images right out of the camera like volume sports photographers, we need more time on the back end.

  • Yes, your son or daughter will select the final image at the photo shoot. They will work with Rayne, the photographer, and select their favorite image. We do not provide proofs. This allows us to streamline the post production timeline and be able to deliver the final prints and digitals to you in a timely manner. If you are concerned, please have a discussion with your student-athlete about what kind of pose you would like for them to do. For example, if they should smile or can be serious, be traditional or have fun and be silly, helmet on or off, etc.

  • The minimum purchase amount does need to be satisfied for each order and there are no packages offered at a lower cost than the minimum amount. We base the minimum purchase amount on the high quality of our work, the cost it takes to produce and the exceptional level of customer service that we provide. When you call or email, you will reach Rayne or Dom directly every time.

  • The order forms we provide use PayPal to process all payments, but you do not need a PayPal account to submit payment. PayPal allows you to check out as a guest without having to log into a paypal account. When you check out as a guest, you can simply enter your credit or debit card details. This option is located below the PayPal account login fields.

  • When reviewing your bank statement, the order will appear as Rayne Duronslet Photography LLC or Rayne Photo

  • Picture packages are delivered to the athletic office approximately 3-4 weeks after the media day. If you haven’t received your package by then, please reach out to us, your coaches or athletic director.

 

We use PayPal as our credit card processor. You do not need to have a PayPal account to complete the transaction. When you get to the payment screen, it will automatically have PayPal selected.
